what an experience ... i taste the hill life in rains .... there's a small hilly village called "Kaluk" at West Sikkim ...... approx 5,500 ft above sea level ... so beautiful , the full kanchendzonga range is clearly visible most of the year ..... but i missed though, due to rain .....
as if an artist painted the peaks .....
as if the clouds bridging the gaps ..........
a slow progress is going on to make it another wonderful destination on earth .....
the local people are very co-operative , and social too ... i was invited the next morning
by a local taxi driver Suresh to have a cup of tea with his family , all it happened surprisingly..
while i was taking a walk on the next morning , suddenly rain started and unfortunately i left my umbrella at my hotel room
suresh was walking behind me , instead of crossing me he asked me to enter inside his umbrella..
i did what he said and after few conversations he invited me to have a cup of tea at his hut which is
"pas main hai sir , please chalye "
i went there and had a warm reception by his family , indeed they are very innocent , caring and social people ..... i am thankful to them ...
its in a developing phase , and lot of constructions is going on through out ... the best season to visit here
is in the month of October and November or Feb and March ..... i m interested to visit
another time to get the total beauty and serenity of "Kaluk"
Nice.
